Moving to Satellite Beach Florida
Satellite Beach Florida
To many folk, Satellite Beach is unheard of. A quaint little town nestled between the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean with a population of 10,808. Summer low temps in the 70’s and highs in the low 90’s, beaches at almost every nook you turn into and a friendly community. It is no wonder the residents want to keep it their little secret.
Satellite Beach prides itself with continuous efforts with their community redevelopment agency. The city is continually keeping the beaches clean with their ongoing beach re-nourishment project, upkeep and repairing of roads, and replacing outdated business signs to warmer, more modern signage within the city.
Satellite Beach Community
Satellite Beach is a community that supports its hometown businesses and community and it shows. Just walk into any of our hometown local businesses and a warm friendly smile is ready welcome you.

Satellite Beach is a Welcoming Community
With one of the world’s largest leading makers of advanced lighting products, Lighting Science is located in the center of the city and is one of our leading companies for employment within the city.
Satellite Beach is also just a hop, skip and jump away to the aerospace industry at Kennedy Space Center, Northtrop Grumman innovative systems technology which provides electronics and information systems for our government, and Harris Corp. which is an international communications and information technology company serving government and commercial markets in more than 150 countries. All of these just a 20 minute drive away!

My husband, Paul, and I are looking for a one or two bedroom furnished condo, apartment or house to rent for the 2012-2013 school year. We would like to pay $1100 per month or less. Plusses for us (but not requirements) would be pool, spa, near a beach and deck or patio where we could have a few flowers and tomato plants.
We will be in Florida January 13-25 and will have a car. Please let us know if there are possible places; maybe someone who simply cannot sell in this economy. We would also take on care-taking, which we have done for a cousin in our current situation.
We are clean, responsible educator/counselors with a small retirement account looking for some sun next winter. Reference from my cousin is available. I will likely be substitute teaching.
Our contact information is below
Yours sincerely,
Christine Carney Kidwell
