Disney World OrlandoDisney World claims to be one of the most magical places on earth, and for good reason. This is one of the most common reasons that people even come to Orlando in the first place. Orlando theme parks are not in short supply, but Disney World is by far the most popular. If you are planning a holiday to this area or even considering relocating to Florida, you should be aware of this park and everything that it has to offer. The first thing to note is that the area of the park is about the size of Boston, Massachusetts, which is not a small city.

The most popular of the Orlando theme parks features four major parks within the main Disney World area. There is the Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and the Animal Kingdom. Each attraction has its own events and things to see, and is worthy of exploration for its own reasons. Here is a little about each area to give you a better understanding of what you have to see.

Magic Kingdom

This is the classic theme park that everyone thinks of when they think of Disney World. This is patterned after the original Disneyland that is in California, and has Main Street USA, Liberty Square, Frontierland, Tomorrowland, Mickey's Toontown Fair and Adventureland. Each of these areas has different rides and attractions to see, bringing adventure to everyone who visits.

Epcot

Epcot is essentially like a giant World's Fair. There is a Future World that has a variety of exhibits and showcases to see, giving you a chance to get a glimpse into the future of the world, as well as the past and different regions of the world.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

This was created as an answer to the Universal Studios theme park, which is one of the top Orlando theme parks for movie-goers. There are live shows, rides and attractions based on Disney movies, and so much more to see.

The Animal Kingdom

This is a 500-acre park that is 5 times larger than the Magic Kingdom, where you will find a mixture of animals and rides spread throughout the area. You will be able to see live musicals and other events, as well. Ultimately, it is like an oversized zoo and attracts millions of visitors annually.

As you can see, there are plenty of reasons that Disney World Orlando is one of the best Orlando theme parks, because it has something to offer for just about everyone.
